Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 25, 2026 · booklrme LLC

This Privacy Policy explains how booklrme LLC(“Booklr,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares information in connection with the Booklr booking and follow-up service available at booklr.me(the “Service”).

Booklr provides home-service professionals (“Pros”) with a branded booking link, automatic review-request and rebooking messages, arrival texts, and calendar sync. This policy covers both Pros who hold an account and the customers (“Customers”) who book through a Pro’s link.

1. Information we collect

Information Pros provide

  • Account details: name, email address, and authentication data (via our auth provider).
  • Business profile: business name, description, logo, website, services and prices, hours, brand color, and accepted payment methods.
  • Message settings and your Google review link.

Information about Customers (provided by the Customer or the Pro)

  • Name, phone number, and/or email address.
  • Service address and booking details (service, date, time, notes).

Google account data (only if a Pro connects Google Calendar)

  • With the Pro’s authorization through Google OAuth, we access busy/free times on the connected calendar to block already-booked times, and we create calendar events for new bookings. We request the calendar.events scope only.

Technical information

  • Standard log and device information needed to operate and secure the Service.

2. How we use information

  • To create and host each Pro’s booking link and process bookings.
  • To send booking-related and follow-up messages by SMS and/or email — appointment confirmations, “on my way”/running-late notices, Google-review requests, and rebooking reminders — on the Pro’s behalf.
  • To sync bookings with a Pro’s connected calendar and avoid double-booking.
  • To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Service.
  • To comply with law and enforce our Terms.

3. Google API Services — Limited Use disclosure

Booklr’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Specifically, data obtained from Google Calendar is used only to provide and improve the booking features the Pro requested — reading busy times to show accurate availability and creating events for confirmed bookings. We do not sell this data, use it for advertising, transfer it except as needed to provide the Service or as required by law, or allow humans to read it except where you give consent for support, for security/abuse purposes, or as required by law.

4. SMS / text messaging

When a Customer books through a Pro’s link or provides a phone number, they may receive booking-related and follow-up text messages from the Pro through Booklr. Message and data rates may apply; message frequency varies. Customers can opt out at any time by replying STOP and can get help by replying HELP. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

5. How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We share it only:

  • With the relevant Pro— a Customer’s booking details are shared with the Pro they booked.
  • With service providers who process data on our behalf, including hosting (Vercel), database and storage (Supabase), authentication (Clerk), SMS delivery (Twilio), email delivery (Resend), and calendar sync (Google). These providers are bound to use the data only to provide their services to us.
  • For legal reasons — to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, or protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the Service.
  • In a business transfer — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

6. Data retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the Service and for legitimate business or legal purposes. A Pro can delete their business from Settings, which removes their booking link, services, and associated customer records. You may also request deletion as described below.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your choices and rights

  • Pros can edit or delete their business information in the app.
  • A Pro may disconnect Google Calendar at any time in Settings; you may also revoke access from your Google account permissions.
  • Customers may reply STOP to opt out of texts, or contact the Pro or us to access or delete their information.
  • To request access or deletion of your information, email contact@booklr.me.

9. Children

The Service is intended for businesses and adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
