Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Booklr service at booklr.me (the “Service”), operated by booklrme LLC(“Booklr,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Booklr gives home-service professionals (“Pros”) a branded booking link, automatic review-request, rebooking, and arrival messages, and optional calendar sync. We provide the software tools; the underlying services are provided by the Pro to their customers.

Booklr is a scheduling and messaging tool and is not a party to any appointment. Each appointment, and the service it is for, is solely between the Pro and the Customer. Booklr is not responsible for missed, late, canceled, rescheduled, double-booked, or no-show appointments by either the Pro or the Customer; for the quality, safety, conduct, or outcome of any service; for any payment between a Pro and a Customer; or for any dispute, injury, damage, or loss arising from a booking or appointment. Booking through the Service does not guarantee that an appointment will occur, and we are not liable if a confirmation, reminder, or other message is delayed or not delivered.

2. Accounts and eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to create an account. You are responsible for the accuracy of your information, for activity under your account, and for keeping your credentials secure.

3. Your customers and messaging

If you are a Pro, you are responsible for your relationship with your customers and for the content of messages sent through the Service. You represent that you have any necessary consent to contact your customers by text and email for booking-related and follow-up communications, and you agree to honor opt-out requests (e.g., STOP). You will not use the Service to send unlawful, misleading, or unsolicited messages, and you will comply with applicable laws and carrier and messaging requirements (including the TCPA and CTIA guidelines).

4. Acceptable use

  • Do not use the Service for any unlawful, harmful, deceptive, or abusive purpose.
  • Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
  • Do not upload content that infringes others’ rights or violates law.
  • Do not misrepresent your identity or your business.

5. Subscriptions and payment

Booklr offers a free tier and paid plans. Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis and renew automatically until canceled. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change plan features or pricing on reasonable notice. Booklr does not process payments between a Pro and their customers; any such payment is solely between the Pro and the customer.

6. Third-party services

The Service integrates with third parties such as Google (calendar), Twilio (SMS), Resend (email), and others. Your use of those integrations may be subject to the third party’s terms, and we are not responsible for third-party services.

7. Intellectual property

Booklr and its software, design, and trademarks are owned by booklrme LLC. You retain ownership of the content you provide (such as your logo and business information) and grant us a license to use it to operate the Service for you.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that messages will always be delivered.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BOOKLRME LLC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS OR DATA. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless booklrme LLC from claims arising out of your use of the Service, your content, your messages to customers, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your business at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. The exclusive venue for disputes is the state and federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
